Burn has been nominated for a 2013 Western Canadian Music Award for Classical Composition of the Year. Congratulations to Standing Wave, whose album Liquid States has also been nominated for Classical Recording of the Year. Winners will be announced in Calgary October 6, 2013. Standing Wave will perform Burn at the Classical Showcase at Festival Hall on Saturday afternoon October 5.
